Sounds to me like Sean is preparing his run for Senate and setting Tommy up to take the Assembly seat.
Tommy in the Assembly would give the Tri-Citi News the unique distinction of having an Assemblyman as a columnist and a former Asseblyman of the other party as the publisher and chief rabble rouser.
Politicsnj.com has an interesting piece today about the battle between Steve Corodemus and Sean for the Senate seat.
Smart analysis -- you're probably right. And I'm sure this SERC thing didn't get set-up without Bob McKenna's blessing if not direct baptism.
Good to see PoliticsNJ.com finally getting to Monmouth. They've been asleep at the wheel around here for quite some time. One only wants to hear about Essex and Hudson counties just so much.

Tommy would have to establish residency in the district. I don't know enough about his personal situation to know how realistic that is.
I'm sure you are right about McKenna's involvement. He can't be happy about the influence 2 rivers has developed and will want his own coaltion, especially if he loses on Saturday. Genele and Popkins will probably support Corodemus for Senate. Sean and Bob will want to counter that.

And Bergen. But then, that's why I'm here LOL.
